The Nike Sneaker Company was founded in 1964 by Bill Bowerman and Phlip Night.
Blue Ribbon Sports was the first name of the Nike Sneaker Company. Blue Ribbon Sports started business by importuning lower priced running shoes made in Japan and selling them in there hometown of Oregon. Eventually Nike Sneaker started to produce there own shoes by 1972. Thus the Nike Sneaker Brand was born.
