As the Gardener 10th anniversary event is getting closer, here we have a look back into time and revisit the roots and history of what we know today as Gardener by Michael Lau. With humble beginnings and ideas jotted down on sketch books, each character was born and transformed into figures in the Gardener series. Some of the figures and characters are based on real life people that surrounded Lau and in certain instances their real names have been used as the name of the figure. Others are just fictional characters but they all have a distinct personality of its own.
